What Free Roof Score Is
Free Roof Score is a free informational tool that provides homeowners with an estimated assessment of their roof's condition, insurance claim eligibility, and remaining lifespan based on user-provided information.
What Free Roof Score Is NOT
We are NOT a roofing contractor. We do not perform roof inspections, repairs, or installations. We are an independent advisory service that connects homeowners with vetted, licensed roofing contractors when requested.
Your Roof Score is an estimate based on the information you provide and general patterns in roof condition data. It is not a substitute for an in-person roof inspection by a qualified, licensed roofing professional.
No Liability for Roofing Work
When we connect you with a roofing contractor, that contractor is an independent business. We are not responsible for:
- The quality of any inspection or work performed
- Pricing, contracts, or business dealings between you and the contractor
- Any damage, loss, or injury related to roofing work
Always verify a contractor's license, insurance, and references before signing any contract or paying any deposit.
No Guarantee of Insurance Outcomes
Information about insurance claim eligibility, RCV vs ACV coverage, code upgrades, and similar topics is general educational information. We do not guarantee any specific insurance outcome. Insurance claim decisions are made by your insurance carrier based on your specific policy, the actual condition of your roof, and other factors.
Use of the Tool

- Not use the tool for illegal purposes
- Not attempt to scrape, copy, or replicate the tool
