Free Roof Score is operated by A&E Roofing Advisors LLC ("A&E," "we," "us," or "our") for people seeking roofing-company matches in Georgia and Alabama. This policy describes the information we collect through Free Roof Score, why we use it, and when we disclose it.
Information We Collect
Information you submit. Depending on the form, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, property or project details, service area, ZIP code, street address, roof answers, photos you choose to provide, company or portfolio details, damage information, and messages. We also keep the disclosure version and time associated with a submitted request. If you select optional text messaging, we keep the consent choice, disclosure version, and time.
Interactive Roof Score. The self-reported Roof Score estimate runs in your browser. Answers entered only into that tool are not sent to us. Information is sent when you separately submit a matching, commercial, or restoration form. The Roof Score does not establish actual roof condition and is not a physical inspection.
Page and technical information. We may receive the page you visited, referral and campaign parameters, browser and device information, user agent, and limited interaction events. When you submit a form, we may create a one-way hash derived from your IP address using a private salt. We use that hash for fraud prevention, duplicate detection, and rate limiting. We do not store the raw IP address with the lead record.
How We Use Information
- Provide the requested Roof Score or matching service.
- Review a submitted request and look for at most one partner roofing company based on service area, project type, and partner availability.
- Contact you about your request.
- Prevent fraud, spam, repeated submissions, and misuse.
- Measure, maintain, and improve the site.
- Keep records, protect legal rights and safety, and comply with law.
How We Disclose Information
One partner roofing company. If an appropriate match is available, we disclose the information submitted with the request to at most one partner roofing company that serves the area, solely so that company may contact the homeowner about the specific project. The disclosure is made at the consumer's request to provide the matching service. If no match is available, we do not send the request broadly.
Service providers. We use providers that support hosting, databases and server functions, transactional email, analytics, and domain services. These currently include Supabase, Resend, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Lovable, and Hostinger. They process information for the services they provide to us.
Legal, safety, and business protection. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or address fraud and security concerns.
Free Roof Score does not sell leads to data brokers and does not send the same request to multiple roofing companies. A&E may be compensated by the partner network only if a job moves forward. The homeowner pays Free Roof Score nothing for submitting a request.
Calls, Email, and Optional Text Messages
The main form disclosure asks A&E to seek one company and authorizes the selected partner to call or email the person about the specific request. It does not authorize a roofing partner to send automated or prerecorded marketing calls or texts. A partner must obtain any consent it separately needs.
The text-message checkbox is separate and optional. If checked, it gives prior express written consent for text messages from A&E Roofing Advisors LLC, doing business as Free Roof Score, at the number provided, including messages sent using automated technology. It is not consent for partner text messages. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything or submitting a request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Analytics and Cookies
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand site use. These services may use cookies or device identifiers. Form names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, ZIP codes, and other form PII must not be sent to Google Analytics. You can limit cookies through your browser settings or other controls available to you, although some site functions may be affected.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Retention
Ordinary lead records are kept for up to 24 months. We may keep information longer when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, disputes, or opt-out and suppression records. This describes our retention practice and does not promise automatic deletion on a fixed date. Analytics information is retained under the applicable analytics settings.
Your Choices and Rights
You may ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of information we hold about you. You may also withdraw optional communications consent. Email evan@freeroofscore.com, and reply STOP to opt out of texts. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Requests are answered within the time required by applicable law, and exceptions may apply. Appeals and additional opt-outs are available where applicable.
We will honor rights and practices as required by applicable law, including the Alabama Personal Data Protection Act when it becomes effective and applies to us.
Children's Privacy
This service is not intended for people under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The revision date above identifies the current policy.
