Radar indications and ground observations are different
A radar hail signature is not confirmation that hail reached the ground at a particular size or location. It also cannot determine whether a roof was damaged. Keep any dated event record you already have, but do not describe unverified radar indications as confirmed ground hail.
Describe your home, not the regional storm
A request is more useful when it identifies the room or exterior area affected, when a change was noticed, whether water is entering, and any known prior repair. Safe photos can preserve observations. A roofing company must inspect before determining condition and appropriate work.
